Psyschotherapy
Supervision
My client work is rooted in a belief that we are all trying our best. We want to be true to ourselves, we want to feel free, we want purpose, we want to love and be loved. That all looks a bit different to each of us, and you and I will work together to figure out what that means to you.
The therapeutic relationship is at the core of my work. That means I’m a person in the room, a contributing voice, not someone who simply analyzes. We’ll laugh together and explore together, but your experience will be at the center. Maybe that’s new for you. It feels good.
I specialize in the perinatal time period, though many of my clients stay on past their initial transition to parenthood. I am adept at working with anxiety, relationship issues, trauma, and developing a stronger sense of self.
My lens is trauma-informed and nuerodiversity affirming. I believe that our reality is socially constructed and our cultural roots and social environment impact how we understand ourselves and the world. I believe in the essential worth of all beings on this planet, including you.
I work with a range of helping professionals to support them in developing professional ego and develop their clinical skills. My supervision is reflective, curious, and just as relational as my psychotherapy practice! I want to know who you want to be as a clinician, and I want to support you in being that. I am interested in how subjectivity influences our practice, and how we can honor both our viewpoint and our client’s experience to best serve the people we are working with.
